Abstract

Inflation passed from a purely monetary phenomenon to an intrinsic part of the
modern economic system. This paper aims to perform a general analysis of the new inflationary
processes, particularly the “administered inflation” from economic agents with market
power, the “compensatory inflation” to remunerate capital, and the “corrective inflation”,
produced by the state when trying to correct the distortions caused by the economic
policy.
