Abstract

The current scope of the State if of an extended role, with greater production of
goods and services. However, beyond a producer, the state is also a distributor and a coordinator
of the economic system. This article aims to investigate this new scope of the State
apparatus and how the current economic theories are insufficient to correctly understand it.
